I’ve been meaning to get to this for a while, and am finally underway.

It’s my intention to develop a central place for grappling and jiu jitsu events and info in and around the midwest. There are lots of great people in this community and lots of great events. Hopefully we’ll be able to use this to raise the awareness of everybody’s effort and hard work.

I’m in Springfield, but I’ve trained in lots of different places and always find that where ever I go, the Jiu Jitsu community is welcoming and familiar.

I’ll be looking for schools to add to the list, events and organizations to promote, and most importantly, contacts for all these places to stay in touch with to make this site useful for everybody looking to attend an event or competition and the people looking to promote them.

I’ll also be using social networking sites to further this along and will be posting tips on hooking up your phone, gmail, facebook, and twitter stuff so that new additions to the site will be pushed to you.

That’s it for now, I’ll be back soon to start adding schools and contacts.
